1 killed in Capitol Hill shooting

Detectives are investigating a shooting that killed a 31-year-old man early Sunday in Capitol Hill.

Officers responded around 1 a.m. to a shooting near 10th Avenue East and East Pike Street. When they arrived, they found the victim and began medical care until Seattle Fire medics arrived.

The man was taken to Harborview Medical Center where he later died, a blotter post said.

The Seattle Police Department is investigating.
