WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — The Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office says someone was hurt in a shooting involving two motorcycle gangs.
The person is expected to survive and is receiving treatment.
Deputies say the shooting happened around 7:15 p.m. Sunday on Birch Bay Drive.
Several people have been taken into custody.
Deputies say there is no known threat to the public.
“We appreciate the swift response of our deputies and partner agencies, whose coordinated efforts led to the rapid apprehension of suspects,” the department shared.
