BELLEVUE, Wash. — A teen bicyclist was transported to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries after being hit by an SUV about 7:30 a.m. Monday, Bellevue police said.
Officers responded to the intersection of Southeast Newport Way and 129th Place Southeast and found the girl on the roadway with serious injuries, police said.
Police said the 17-year-old girl was riding her bike, going eastbound on Newport Way, when a 48-year-old female driver made a left turn in front of the teen.

Police said they believe the driver did not see the girl.
Officers closed down 129th Place Southeast to investigate the crash.
The driver's Toyota 4Runner had front-end damage, police said.
Police said the driver is cooperating with investigators.
