As many as 20 people displaced after Redmond condo fire

REDMOND, Wash. — As many as 20 people were forced out of their homes Tuesday morning after a massive fire at a condominium building in Redmond.

Redmond fire said the flames at the Toketi Lakeshore Condominiums, 4050 West Lake Sammamish Parkway Northeast, was called out at about 11 p.m. Monday.

As many as four units were destroyed and a number of others were damaged by smoke and water. A total of eight units were affected.

Fire officials don't yet have the exact number of people who were displaced by the fire, but the Red Cross is helping the victims with temporary housing.

Three cats died in the fire.

No injuries to people were reported.
