Photos of women from all over state found on Steven Powell's computer

TACOMA, Wash. — Photos of women from all over Washington state -- taken at malls, parks and college campuses -- were among the pictures found on Steven Powell's computer, according to court documents in Powell's voyeurism case.

Trial began on Monday for the father-in-law of missing Utah mother Susan Powell.  Jury selection got under way, and a judge dismissed a child pornography charge against him.

Court documents in the case detail not only the photos Steven Powell allegedly took of Susan Powell, but also shots of random women in public.

The photos found on Powell's computer include underage neighbors, naked our using bathrooms, according to the documents.

The list of photos also includes close-up pictures of women and girls taken in public places like Western Washington University, authorities wrote in the documents.

There's a listing called "seat companion 2004," apparently an airline passenger.

Several photos were taken in the parking lot of Tacoma Mall and on Pacific Avenue.

Photos include women on sidewalks in Seattle and Ellensburg, and parking lots in Edmonds, Federal Way and the Tri-Cities.  The photos also include women in a Kirkland Park, an Olympia store and a Spokane dress shop.

Officers were searching Powell's home last summer for clues to Susan Powell's disappearance when they said they came across the images on Steve Powell's computers.

Jury selection in Powell's trial resumes on Tuesday.
