FREDERICKSON, Wash. — A worker is recovering after being trapped in a rail car filled with 80 tons of sand.
The incident happened in the 18700 block of 38th Street East in Frederickson Tuesday afternoon.

The first rescuers put a barrier between the man and much of the sand so it wouldn't collapse on him -- as they used a special hose to suck it away.
It took nearly 90 minutes before he was airlifted out with the help of a special harness.
