‘Big Top' serial bank robbers arrested in Renton

RENTON, Wash. — Two men accused of five armed takeover-style bank robberies in King County are in custody, according to the City of Newcastle.

The FBI Safe Streets Task Force, which includes members of the King County took the men into custody in Renton Monday morning with the help of the King County Sheriff's Office SWAT team.

Police said the robberies began in January and became increasingly more violent.

Detectives released surveillance photos of a robber in three of the robberies,  as well as photos of a car believed to have been used in the Feb. 28 Key Bank robbery, earlier this month.

They also relased surveillance video, as seen below.
