Deja vu as Kraken lose 2-4 against Dallas Stars

It’s Deja vu as the Kraken lose again similarly to when they lost in Colorado a couple of weeks ago. The Kraken lost 2-4 to the Dallas Stars tonight.

The best of seven series is now tied at a game a piece, but still, a long way to go.

After winning game 1, the Kraken expected pushback from the Stars but they had trouble keeping pace and spent too much time in the penalty box. They had a scoreless first period but Dallas got a rebound goal just as one of those Kraken penalties expired and unlike game 1, there was no quick response from the Kraken.

Dallas kept skating fast and 5 minutes later Evgeni Dadanov scored on the wraparound. Then the Kraken responded and 2 minutes later there was a break for the boys, as rookie Ty Karyte made a wrister. The Kraken was back in the game momentarily.

There was another Power play for Dallas and the guy that scored four times in game one lit the lamp again. Joe Pavelski made it 3-1 so they went to the third where Dallas closed it out with a tip-in goal from Tyler Seguin.

The Kraken have to turn the page as they come home for Game Three and one thing is sure there will now be at least 5 games in the series so KIRO 7 will be back in Dallas next week. Meanwhile on Sunday and Tuesday Climate Pledge will be an absolute madhouse, and hopefully, that will give the Kraken a boost.
