CHESAPEAKE, Va. — A gust of wind pushed a tractor-trailer’s cab over the edge of a bridge, leaving it dangling 70 feet over a river in Chesapeake, Virginia, Monday.
Virginia State Police told WAVY Wayne Boone was behind the wheel of the rig when the wind pushed the empty trailer into another lane, causing Boone to lose control.
The cab jumped the guardrail of the High Rise Bridge on Interstate 64 and hung over the side, The Associated Press reported.
