Seahawks hold final practice before flying to London

RENTON, Wash. — The Seahawks have found a way to establish an identity with their running game.

"Mike Davis is a playmaker,” said Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. “[The] guy has made so many plays time in and time out. You know, he's one of my favorite guys to play with, just how he plays the game."

Davis and Chris Carson are giving the Seahawks a potent one-two punch at running back.

"It feels good,” said Davis. “Like I said, that one-two punch with me and Chris, we rotate in just to make sure that we keep each other fresh so whenever we come in, that guy is ready to go 100 percent."

"I think the cool part about our running backs right now (is) they can do it all,” said Wilson. “Guys like Chris Carson (are balling out right now). He's going to be a star in this league. He can make so many plays and he's so physical at the point of attack."

Carson credits the offensive line for making blocks and creating holes.

"The offensive line has been doing a great job,” said Carson. “It's making our job easy. Me and Davis (have been trying to stay productive) but anytime it can (also) be any other running back (making plays). We're so deep at that position."

"As we've gotten comfortable and playing with more confidence, you can just see the evolution there,” Duane Brown, a Seahawks offensive tackle, said. “And I think we've all gotten better as individual players. As a group, this is the best we've been."

Wilson and Brown were talking about how much they're looking forward to playing at Wembley Stadium in London.
But one person not excited about the trip overseas is Raiders head coach Jon Gruden.

“I'm not a great traveler,” said Gruden. “I'll be honest with you, I hate it. I'm not good. So I'm concerned. I'm more worried about that than our goal-line offense right now."

And who knows?

If the Raiders are jet-lagged in London, that could definitely be an advantage for the Seahawks.
