Deputies are investigating a fatal stabbing Monday night near Puyallup.
Deputies responded to a report of a domestic situation at 12010 115th Avenue Court East at 5:45 p.m.
When deputies arrived, they found a 46-year-old man with stab wounds. He was taken to Tacoma General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

According to deputies, the victim and a 30-year-old woman went to the suspect’s home to retrieve some of her property.
Investigators said the victim was stabbed and the woman was struck with a pick axe handle. She was not taken to the hospital.
A 51-year-old man was taken into custody and was booked into the Pierce County Jail.
The investigation is ongoing.
