Five patients evaluated after exposure to toxic fumes

SEATTLE — Five people were evaluated by medics after being exposed to toxic fumes at a construction site Monday morning, officials said.

Seattle fire crews responded to the 10300 block of Meridian Ave. North around 11 a.m. to reports of fumes in part of a building undergoing construction.

The building area was evacuated and five people with minor symptoms were evaluated. All are in stable condition.
