Boeing to workers: Be careful speaking about the 737 MAX at holiday dinner table

Boeing knows employees will get questions about the 737 MAX around the holiday dinner table, and they’ve been given tips to keep the conversation positive.

According to an internal memo obtained by KIRO 7, the company has a suggested answer for five different questions. Boeing reminds employees that they share the responsibility to protect the company’s reputation.

“Be aware of what you saw and where you say it,” the employee note reads. “It’s OK to say nothing, that you don’t know the answer, or that you’d rather not talk about it.”
