SEATTLE — An Amber Alert issued out of Seattle for a missing 8-year-old girl has been canceled after she was found safe Monday morning.
The alert was issued after the girl, who has autism, was taken by a man known to her family.
Police say the girl’s mother got out of a car while the suspect was in the passenger seat.
The suspect then jumped into the driver’s seat, locked the doors and drove southbound on Aurora Avenue North with the child sitting in the back seat.
