Deputies release sketch of man suspected in sexual assault of 15-year-old girl

KENT, Wash. — Deputies with the King County Sheriff’s Office released a sketch Wednesday of a suspect in a recent sexual assault.

Officials said a 15-year-old student at Kentlake High School reported being sexually assaulted while walking home from school around 2:40 p.m. May 2.

The sexual assault is alleged to have happened near the 21400 block of SE Falcon Way in Kent.

In a news release, deputies described the man as “having brown skin, possibly Hispanic or East Indian. He was 30-40 years old with an average height and build.”

The student told deputies she was walking through a park when the man grabbed her arm and touched her groin area.

Deputies said the man had dark hair that was short but wavy on top and his face was unshaven.

“He had a scar or mark on his right eyebrow and a green-colored tattoo on his left clavicle/neck area. His teeth are crooked and stained like a smoker’s teeth,” officials said.

The man was last seen wearing a navy blue hooded sweatshirt and long, black sweatpants that covered his feet, deputies said.

Anyone with information on the incident and/or the man is asked to call the King County Sheriff’s Office at 206-296-3311.
