With the Seahawks and Sounders on the road, Rainier Beach and O’Dea played under the Friday night lights of Lumen Field in Seattle.
Star running back Jalen Brown had 130 rushing yards to help lead O’Dea’s ground attack. The Irish came away with a 22-0 win over the Vikings.
Sumner and Emerald Ridge are both knee-deep into their conference schedules. Emerald Ridge quarterback Jake Schakel led the Jaguars to a 28-18 win over the Spartans with three touchdown passes.
In another 3A matchup, Yelm moved to 3-0 on the season with a big 58-0 home win over Central Kitsap.
