Woman knocked unconscious in Crown Hill egging attack

SEATTLE — A woman was knocked out early Tuesday outside a Crown Hill bar after an egg thrown from a passing truck hit her in the head.
 
The woman and several friends were standing outside the bar near Northwest 85th Street and 15th Avenue Northwest in Seattle when someone unleashed a barrage of eggs.
 
The woman was struck directly behind the ear, knocking her unconscious. 
 
She was caught by friends as she fell to the ground and then taken to a nearby hospital where they met with police.
 
A bar employee was also hit in the drive-by incident.  Witnesses described the truck as a small black or green pickup with a canopy and dark tinted windows.
