KING COUNTY, Wash. — A White Center recreational marijuana shop was robbed in White Center late Monday night.

It was the second time the shop has been robbed in two years.

The robbery happened at Star 21 in the 11000 block First Avenue South before it was about to close at 11:50 p.m. Monday.

A K-9 team was brought to the scene to track the suspects, but they were not found.

Police said four to five suspects entered the store and robbed it.  At least one of the suspects fired multiple shots inside the store, but no one was hurt.

They are believed to have left in a vehicle.

Star 21 was also robbed in Sept. 2017.  In that case, an employee was shot in the shoulder.

The pot shop is the second to be hit in the Seattle area within the last two days.

Thieves broke into a Ballard pot shop and stole thousands of dollars of products in less than 60 seconds.
