LOWMAN BEACH PARK, Wash. — A swim advisory was issued on Thursday for Lowman Beach Park in King County.
Officials say a small volume of wastewater ‘overflowed to Puget Sound near the beach.’
Testing was done on Thursday, and results will be available on Friday, according to officials.
Officials warned that contact with fecal-contaminated waters could result in gastroenteritis, skin rashes, upper respiratory infections and other illnesses.
