The Washington State Patrol is investigating how someone compromised their phone at headquarters.
WSP officials said they’ve being getting dozens of complaints from people who say someone called, claiming to be a trooper.
The caller accuses them of having various violations including outstanding warrants, unpaid tickets and unpaid school taxes.
The WSP emphasizes that it does not call citizens about violations, warrants or to collect fines.
