Two arrested after fleeing from moving, stolen car, hiding in cemetery

SEATTLE, Wash. — Two suspects were arrested Friday night after jumping from a moving, stolen car and then hiding in a cemetery in the Haller Lake neighborhood of Seattle.

The two suspects, an 18-year-old and a 19-year-old, were caught after police spotted the stolen vehicle at Aurora Avenue North.

The stolen vehicle is believed to be connected to many recent incidents throughout North Seattle.

When the suspects realized they had been spotted, they fled from police, jumping out of their car before stopping it and fleeing by foot into a cemetery.

Officers surrounded the cemetery and located the hiding suspects with the use of their helicopter.
