SAN ANTONIO — A Texas woman is accused of lighting her boyfriend’s car on fire, causing him to suffer burns, authorities said.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, the incident occurred early Sunday outside a motel where the couple was staying KENS-TV reported.
Police said the couple, who are in their 40s, got into an argument and the man attempted to leave the motel parking lot in his vehicle, KABB reported.
At that point, the woman allegedly used an accelerant to light the car on fire, according to KENS.
When officers arrived the car was on fire, the television station reported.
The man was taken to an area hospital and was listed in stable condition, KABB reported. The woman was detained for questioning but it is unclear whether charges will be filed.
