HOLLAND, Mich. — There was plenty of spilled milk on a Michigan interstate Friday.
Milk spilled out of a semitrailer when it overturned on Interstate 196 in western Michigan, shutting down traffic for several hours, The Detroit News reported.
A hazmat crew responded to assist in cleaning up the spill, MLive reported. The tanker was righted after milk was transferred to a different truck, according to the website.
The driver of the truck drifted from the road at about 9:30 a.m. in Holland Township, the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office said.
The sheriff’s office did not report how much milk was in the semitrailer, or how much was spilled, the News reported.
