‘Picture Show’ live stream tribute to celebrate John Prine

The family of John Prine will pay tribute to the singer’s legacy.

The “Picture Show” live stream tribute will be aired on Prine’s YouTube and Facebook accounts on June 11, Rolling Stone reported.

Prine died of COVID-19 on April 7. He was 73, The Associated Press reported.

The stream will benefit the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and Alive, which sponsors the Grief Center that provides counseling for those families in Tennessee who lost a family member due to coronavirus.

The list of artists who have signed up for the show has not been released.

The Recording Academy also released new version of “Angel From Montgomery” to benefit MusiCares COVID-19 relief fund, the AP reported.
