EDGEWATER, Fla — A Florida man has been arrested after a home inspection company allegedly found dead dogs and one sick dog at his home, police say.
According to WFTV, a home inspection company called the Edgewater police after they found terrible conditions at a home and found multiple dead dogs, plus a dog who was in need of medical attention.
The Edgewater Police Department said that on Friday, officers received the call from the home inspection company. When officers arrived at the home, they found three dogs dead inside of their cages.
Officers also found a black lab that needed emergency medical attention but EPD confirmed that after she was given medication and fluids, that dog also died.
EPD said officers arrested the homeowner and dog owner, William J. Demchick. He has been charged with four counts of felony animal cruelty.
