Now a children’s book that tells the story of Fauci’s upbringing will hit bookstands later this year.

“Dr. Fauci: How a Boy from Brooklyn Became America’s Doctor” will be available starting June 29, CNN reported.

The book was written by Kate Messner and illustrated by Alexandra Bye.

“There’s so much in this story that will resonate with kids today — riding his Schwinn bicycle around Brooklyn to deliver prescriptions from his dad’s pharmacy, playing stickball in the streets of a neighborhood where he learned to get along with all different kinds of people, and always asking questions about the world,” Messner told CNN.

The book, published by Simon & Schuster, was approved by Fauci, and he and his team were consulted during its wiring, CNN reported.

The book is set to retail for $17.90. Click here for more information on where it will be sold once published.
