AUSTIN, Texas — Keep your eyes on the skies.

Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield delighted fans and alien enthusiasts, alike, Wednesday night after tweeting about a possible close encounter he and his wife experienced.

“Almost 100%, Em and I just saw a UFO drop straight out of the sky on our way home from dinner...” Mayfield wrote, detailing a “very bright ball of light” descending from the sky towards Lake Travis.

“I won’t lie... I’m typically not someone who buys into UFO talk. But all I know is... I saw something tonight that I have never seen. And I’m a little thrown off,” she wrote.

Meanwhile, Emily Mayfield posted a pair of tweets regarding the encounter, but only the second in the set remains available on the social media platform, KVUE reported.
