MIAMI COUNTY, Ohio — A 47-year-old Ohio man accused of cutting a man following an argument over bacon is in jail.

Gregory Seipel, of Ludlow Falls, is charged with felonious assault. He’s accused of the attack at a home in the 7500 block of Sugar Grove Road near Pleasant Hill on Thursday night.

“(The victim) said he made bacon this morning for breakfast,” a Miami County Sheriff’s Office report read. “He said Mr. Seipel was arguing with him about the bacon and the amount” he had eaten.

Seipel remained in jail on a $50,000 bond Monday afternoon.

That argument, the victim said, led to Seipel grabbing him by the back of the head and putting a razor blade to his neck and cutting him, the report read.
