COLUMBUS, Ohio — One person was killed and four others were injured after a shooting at an adult entertainment club early Sunday, authorities said.
According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting occurred at about 2:30 a.m. EST at the Bucks Platinum Club in Mifflin Township, located northeast of Columbus, WBNS-TV reported.
What began as an argument between two people inside the club led to shots being fired, the television station reported.
Charles Earl Westbrook, 28, of Columbus, was fatally wounded, WHIO-TV and WSYX-TV reported. A second victim was critically injured and the other three victims suffered injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening, WCMH-TV reported.
Westbrook was pronounced dead at the scene, sheriff’s office spokesperson Maureen Kocot told the television station.
The sheriff’s office did not provide any information about a possible suspect. No arrests have been made.
Deputies and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigations are handling the case, WBNS reported.
