Melissa McCarthy, appearing soon in "The Boss" as well as the "Ghostbusters" remake, shared her secrets to paring down during an "Extra" interview that noted her impressive 50-pound weight loss.
“No trick, nothing to tell, just (living a) super-boring life,” she said. You bring it real down, you don’t do anything fun and you go to bed at 7:30 — that’s the trick.”
She quipped that her husband, “The Boss” actor-director Ben Falcone, would question why she was in her pajamas at 5 p.m.
“I’m gonna call them loungewear,” was her go-to response.
She has launched a fashion line, Melissa McCarthy Seven7, and wore some of her own creations during a recent premiere.
“I’m wearing my own clothes every day of my life, which I never thought I would get to say,” she said.
“The Boss,” which is set in Chicago but filmed in Atlanta, is in theaters April 8.
