FORT HOOD, Texas — Fort Hood has named eight of the nine soldiers killed in a training accident last week.
According to a news release, Staff Sgt. Miguel Angel Colonvazquez, Spc. Christine Faith Armstrong, Pfc. Brandon Austin Banner, Pfc. Zachery Nathaniel Fuller, Pvt. Isaac Lee Deleon, Pvt. Eddy Raelaurin Gates, Pvt. Tysheena Lynette James and Cadet Mitchell Alexander Winey died after the Army vehicle they were traveling in was swept away in a low-water crossing during training Thursday. Three other soldiers survived.
Fort Hood said it will release the name of the ninth victim after family members are notified.
