Spring is in the air, and ice cream chain Baskin-Robbins is celebrating that fact with discounts on its ice cream for one day this month.
At Baskin-Robbins shops nationwide, the company will offer regular and kid scoops for $1.31 on Friday, March 31.
The discount is part of the company's ongoing “Celebrate 31” promotion, aimed at highlighting the wide range of Baskin-Robbins ice cream flavors. Originally introduced into marketing efforts in 1953, the "31" represents "a different ice cream flavor for each day of the month," according to the company.
Promotional prices will be available on the 31st day of March, May, July, August and October.
The offer is valid for any of the chain's flavors, although anyone looking to get a waffle cone or toppings will have to pay extra.
