SEATTLE — Heavy rain and thunderstorms moved through Western Washington on Sunday.
Small hail was possible for the area, according to NWS Seattle.
KIRO 7 meteorologist Sam Argier said lightning was detected near downtown Issaquah.
A strong storm swept through the area between Granite Falls and Arlington.
Heavy rain also poured over Lakemont and Sammamish.
A dark storm-front was visible on the KIRO 7 tower camera.
Lightning sparked at least two fires in Kitsap County.
The first on Parkdale in Bremerton scorched a wall, but it did not catch fire.
The second -- on Auklet Place NE -- caused a house fire.
