SEATTLE — Three men were arrested for burglary in the Bitter Lake neighborhood on Saturday morning.
The three were caught by a local handyman, who found the burglars inside of a home that he arrived at to do work in -- at midnight.
In response to why they had removed items from the home and placed them in their van, the men claimed to be “helping the neighborhood.”
The handyman didn’t believe them, and blocked their van in the driveway until police arrived.
The owner of the van was taken into custody and booked into King County Jail for investigation of burglary.
The two others were identified and released, but still may face charges, according to police.
