SAMMAMISH, Wash. — A 14-year-old boy who was struck by a car in Sammamish was rushed to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries, authorities told KIRO 7 Eyewitness News.
Chopper 7 video showed two ambulances and a medic unit in the 1100 block of 228th Avenue Southeast. The video showed a car with its windshield smashed on the driver's side.
Eastside Fire & Rescue said the boy was trying to cross the road when he was struck at 2:28 p.m.
He was stable when he was taken to Harborview, where a KIRO 7 Eyewitness News photographer saw him arrive in a medic unit.
The sheriff's office said no alcohol or drugs were involved in the collision.
