TACOMA, Wash. — A rare Sumatran tiger cub made his public debut Thursday at the Point Defiance Zoo.
The tiger was born on Aug. 22, and will be on exhibit in the zoo’s Cub Den.
A zoo spokesperson said visitors will be able to watch the 3-week-old cub interact with keepers.
The cub's parents, Jaya and Malosi, are both in the rotation of tigers placed on exhibit in the zoo's Asian Forest Sanctuary.
