SEATTLE — You may soon be able to stand on the Space Needle's observation deck and see straight down to the ground.
Space Needle officials want to attach three glass boxes to the landmark, which would stick out from the deck. People would be able to stand inside and side side-to-side, upwards and, yes, straight down.
The AP, citing the Daily Journal of Commerce (note: paywall at the link), reported that the city's Landmarks Preservation Board is expected to rule next week on whether to allow the additions.
