BONNEY LAKE, Wash. — Troopers are investigating a head-on crash on State Route 410 near Bonney Lake that killed a driver and sent another to the hospital Wednesday night.
The crash happened at SR 410 and 234th Avenue East.
Troopers said the driver of a Ford F-250 died at the hospital from his injuries and the driver of a Ford Escape was taken to the a hospital with serious injuries.
Traffic is being diverted to 254th Avenue East on SR 410.
Trooper Brooke Bova said the all lanes of SR 410 near the crash scene are expected to remain closed for some time for the investigation.
