Dozens displaced in Lacey apartment fire

LACEY, Wash. — Dozens of people were displaced after a fire at a Lacey apartment building early Tuesday.

KIRO 7 Reporter Ranji Sinha has live reports from the scene with details from firefighters starting at 5 a.m.

Firefighters were called to the College Glen apartments, 5001 55th Ln SE, at 2:20 a.m.

The fire appears to have started on the exterior of the second floor and worked its way up to the third floor.

Firefighters from Lacey, Olympia and Tumwater responded.

Thirty residents have been displaced, but no one was hurt.

Fire crews will stay on the scene until daylight to make sure the fire is out.
