Celine Dion will be ending her Las Vegas residency this year but has announced that she will be hitting the road for a new world tour -- it includes a stop in Tacoma.
Dion is scheduled to perform at the Tacoma Dome on April 15, 2020, for her "Courage World Tour."
On Wednesday, the singer told an audience during a special live event that the tour will start later this year.
She also announced that she is expecting to release a new album around November.
Dion said she felt motivated recently to get back on the road and create new music for the first time since the death of her husband-manager René Angélil in 2016.
The tour is set to kick off on Sept. 18 in Quebec City. For tickets and information, click here.
After more than 15 years, Dion will finish her critically acclaimed Vegas residency at Caesars Palace in June. The singer has toured since starting her Vegas show, but the Courage tour will be her first North American tour since her Taking Chances World Tour in 2009.
