BELLEVUE, Wash. — One lane was closed to traffic on Sunday morning -- because of a sinkhole on NE 4th Street in Bellevue.
Police said the sinkhole was about three feet wide and four feet deep, on the 10500 block of the road -- just south of Bellevue Square Mall.
Officials believe the sinkhole was caused by area construction.
As of 11:00 a.m., the Bellevue, Washington Transportation Department was making repairs.
KIRO 7 is working to gather the details, and will update this story with new information as it becomes available.
