SILVERDALE, Wash. — A Silverdale man is suing after he claims he got stuck with someone else’s medical bill.
John Muller received a bill for a medical procedure he never had from St. Francis Hospital in Tacoma. Muller said he alerted the hospital of the billing mistake, but the problem persisted.
“Every time they said it would be fixed, it wasn’t fixed,” Muller said.
Muller’s credit score even took a hit because of the bill, and Muller was denied a Costco credit card because that medical bill went into collections.
