Police worked to get a man off a crane Thursday morning in the industrial area of the Seattle waterfront.
KIRO 7 News reporter on the scene Jeff Dubois says the man was pacing back and forth 100 feet above ground on a crane that belongs to BNSF Railway.
Emergency response crews worked the scene behind a chain-link razor wire fence on South Massachusetts Street and Utah Avenue South.
It’s unclear how the man got into the area. Traffic was minimally impacted as responders tried to get into the crane yard.
The incident happened a day after a man in the tree gained international attention for occupying the sequoia in downtown Seattle for 24 hours.
