WASHINGTON — The Seattle Cancer Care Alliance is getting ready to introduce a second mobile mammography unit, widening their mobile mammography service across Western Washington.
Early detection of breast cancer is key, Seattle Care says. That’s why they expanding, using the vehicles to visit various communities through the Puget Sound.
Their first mammography vehicle used to operate just a few days a week. The vehicle now operates Monday through Saturday, parking in locations throughout the city.
The current mammography vehicle is equipped with cutting edge, 3D technology. The service is open to both men and women.
