BURIEN, Wash. — King County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help identifying a man who robbed a Key Bank in Burien twice in September.
On Sept. 23 about 12:50 p.m., the man entered the Key Bank in the 17800 block of First Avenue South and gave a teller a note demanding money.
He was described as white, in his 30s, 6 feet tall, with a slender build. He was last seen wearing a dark blue hooded rain jacket and jeans.
Police said in each of the robberies, the man walked away with an undisclosed amount of money.
On Monday, Sept. 30, about 3:45 p.m., the same man entered the same bank, implied that he had a weapon and demanded money. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white writing and blue jeans.
Crime Stoppers will pay a cash reward of up to $1,000 for any information leading to the arrest and charges filed for anyone involved in the robberies. Anyone with information about the robberies is asked to call 1-800-222-TIPS.
