Ricardo Lockette stops to feed homeless on way home after surgery

SEATTLE — Seattle Seahawks player Ricardo Lockette stopped to feed the homeless on his way home after undergoing successful neck surgery in Dallas.

According to a TMZ report, Lockette stopped to hand out cheeseburgers.

Lockette and his parents were leaving the hospital and passed through an area populated by the homeless—when they decided to stop and help, according to the report.

"It was a beautiful thing," said Lockette’s father, Earl, to TMZ. "Through helping other people, he helped heal himself. It was therapeutic for everyone."

Ricardo Lockette was injured during a Seahawks game against the Cowboys—and had to have neck surgery to stabilize ligament damage.

On November 5th, Lockette tweeted that he was thankful for the support and was recovering.
