LYNNWOOD, Wash. — A business complex was destroyed Wednesday afternoon in a two-alarm fire near downtown Lynnwood.

Firefighters recieved the call around 2:48 p.m., and the building was fully engulfed by the time they arrived, officials said. Multiple agencies responded to the fire.

No one was injured, firefighters said.

The building houses mainly medical and health-care businesses. Tenants KIRO 7 talked to said they had lost their businesses.

"The whole building -- it went up really fast," said Jon Toll, who ran from the flames. "It was probably a matter of ... minutes, really. It was probably about five minutes from the time that I got out to where the fire had reached the other side of the building."

It wasn't immediately clear what may have caused the fire or where in the building it started.

Chopper 7 pilot Clark Stahl said the building is on 200th  and Cedar Valley Road near downtown.

Video from Chopper 7 showed flames and smoke shooting into the air.
