Pride Comedy Series: Parlor Live Seattle

Seattle Pride and Parlor Live Seattle have gone all out to present their first-ever joint comedy series starring world-famous LGBTQA talent. The "Pride Comedy Series" methodically connects comedians Jen Kober, Jessica Kirson, Heidi Foss, Nico Santos, Bridget Everett, Erin Foley, Hal Sparks, and Gena Yashere over the course of five shows per month beginning Thursday, March 19. March 19-21: Jen Kober w/special guest Jessica Kirson

  • Jen Kober, comedian and actress on the rise, kicks off the "Pride Comedy Series." She has been seen in BET's Real Husbands of Hollywood, The Mindy Project and Anger Management. Kober has been in several films, including Paranoia, Grudge Match and American Reunion. She presents an original blend of stand-up, storytelling and improvised rock-n-roll comedy. Kober's show at Parlor Live Seattle features Jessica Kirson from Last Comic Standing and Nick Cannon's School Dance. April 23-25: Heidi Foss w/ special guest Nico Santos

  • Heidi Foss is a three-time Canadian Comedy Award nominee for Best Female Stand-up in Canada. The comedienne has combined her background in theatre with her unusually sardonic perception of everyday life to become a standout presence on the North American comedy scene. Her dry, deadpan delivery has earned her three televised galas as a part of the Montreal International Just For Laughs Festival, as well as numerous appearances on CBC radio, television, CBC's Halifax Comedy Festival, and on CTV's Comedy Now! showcase. Foss' show at Parlor Live Seattle features Nico Santos from Showtime's Pride Comedy Jam, E! May 28-30: Bridget Everett w/ special guest Erin Foley

  • Bridget Everett is a singing tour de force known for her funny yet gut-wrenching, outrageous and unpredictable performance work. She's been dubbed "Wynona Judd meets Melissa Etheridge, via the local bar floozy, on a rocket ship out of Twin Peaks" by Michael Musto from the Village Voice. Everett's performs monthly with her band, The Tender Moments, and the performances have grown a cult-like following with guest appearances by Patti LuPone, Fred Armisen, Flea, Marc Shaiman, Tonya Pinkins, Jake Shears, and more. Everett's show at Parlor Live Seattle features Erin Foley from TruTV's How To Be A Grown Up. June 18-20: Hal Sparks w/ special guest Gina Yashere

  • Hal Sparks is perhaps best known for playing the charmingly handsome Michael Novotny in Showtime's acclaimed hit original series Queer As Folk. Sparks' film roles include Dude, Where's My Car?, Spider-Man 2 and Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star. He can currently be seen in the Disney television show Lab Rats. Sparks' show at Parlor Live Seattle features Gina Yashere from Live at the Apollo and Mock The Week.
