SEATTLE — Police report a woman was sexually assaulted in a University of Washington dorm by a man she met on a dating app.
UW police were told of the assault on Tuesday.
The two texted privately and agreed to meet in person.
Over the weekend of Feb. 27, the suspect allegedly assaulted her inside the residence hall.
The suspect is described as a 24-year-old white male, 6 feet tall, with a thin build. His hair is closely cropped and dark brown.
The suspect is not believed to be a UW student.
Police ask anyone with information to call the University of Washington Police Department at 206-685-8973.
