Police say driver's blood alcohol was 4 times legal limit

BELLEVUE, Wash. — Police arrested a driver on DUI charges on New Year’s Eve whose blood alcohol content was more than four times the legal limit.

Bellevue police said the 51-year-old man was pulled over on Bellevue Way Northeast between Bellevue and Kirkland at 9:08 p.m.

When asked how much he had to drink, the man said “nothing.”

The man, who was coming from Carillon Point in Kirkland, had a blood alcohol content of .33.

He was booked into the SCORE Jail.
